Back to the Grind

Hope all of you mothers had a great day off yesterday... if there is such a thing. I have no idea where the weekend went and now I feel like I need Friday to roll around again.

A Great Day to Swim

Spent my Saturday with the boys at the pool. It is so much fun watching them progress and become water safe.  The water is such a great place to play but we shouldn’t forget to be safe. Here are a few pictures of them in the water.

Power of the Blog

I feel like I have gotten to know the people in this class better, and in a shorter time , than in any of my previous 4 classes. It must be the power of the Blog.

I am amazed how  many different parts of the world are represented in our class. For that reason I have added the google translate widget. Surprised to see Irish is a choice, it never is. People don't believe that it is a real language, not just English with an accent. If you want to learn a few phrases for next St Paddys day.. look no further

Blog Title Brain Freeze

Why is the title of the blog so hard to come up with? I have gone through 10 different titles and am not sure if I should be doing something funny or that has personal meaning...

Who am I?

My name is Mark Murphy. I live in Southen California but grew up in Dublin, Ireland. This is my 5th class at BU and I am excited to be involved in the masters program. I work for a software company that is owned by UTC, where we create alarm monitoring software for the security industry.

I am married with 2 children ages 3 and 1. They are quite a handful but I enjoy every moment I have with them. Ok... most moments.

I love to play soccer and tennis. I have had my leg broken playing soccer and it has not diminished the enjoyment I get from sports. Running is my way to get away and  have a few moments of solitude.
